Lex Egea has been CrossFitting for eight years and specializes in competitive training and weightlifting. Committed to positive results, Lex loves to watch our members’ PR big lifts or do something they never have before. “There is nothing better than watching their personal journey and growth towards success,” he says.

A multi-sport athlete, Lex considers soccer his main sport and plays goalkeeper. His notable achievements include competing next to some of the best CrossFit Athletes in the game over the years, and finishing Top 10 at most of his competitions at an elite level. He even made his television premiere on Season 2 of “Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge.”

After spending more than a decade in “globo gym” body building, Lex realized he wanted more out of fitness. “I dabbled with CrossFit like movements for a few years until I finally rolled into a CrossFit gym in 2009, when invited by a solid female athlete/Marine,” he says. “Within six months of working out, I went to my CrossFit L1 and was blown away by the knowledge and instruction. That’s when I knew this was the final piece of the fitness puzzle I was looking for.” A self-confessed “foodie,” Lex also promises to push you past your comfort zone. “But if I do, it’s because I see that potential in you. When you live in comfort, your goals will just take that much longer to accomplish.”

Fallon Rudisill

Fallon Rudisill

Owner / Head Coach

Fallon Rudisill specializes in weightlifting, relating to people, and seeing them at their level and guiding them from there. She absolutely loves to empower people to see and tap into their strengths. “I love weightlifting, and I especially love to teach women weightlifting or fine tune them,” she says. “I also love helping pregnant and postpartum women CrossFit, as it made my pregnancy and postpartum journey so much healthier and easier!”

Fallon grew up dancing and playing a variety of sports, and appreciates seeing members work hard, sweat and let go of their stress for just an hour each day. “I love when I’m coaching and a member digs deeper, proving to themselves that they can go harder than they thought or get that PR,” she says. “I love when someone is able to see how great they can be!”

CrossFit seemed a natural extension for Fallon, and she wants people to know that she’ll always do whatever she can to help guide you. “I will give you all the tools that I have, but ultimately you have to decide what you want for yourself and do it.” She also enjoys short walks and long layouts on the beach, snowboarding, a nice cold beer from time to time or a great pinot noir and dark chocolate—and her fiancé, daughter and dogs bring her more joy than she could ever put into words.

Kyle Madison

Kyle Madison

Kyle Madison has three years of CrossFit and nine years of strength and conditioning experience. He specializes in performance training for athletes, particularly for our youth athletes. Deeply committed to faith, family and training, Kyle loves seeing our members achieve their goals. “I get just as excited seeing one of our athletes hit a new PR as they do,” he says. “Knowing that our coaching helped them reach that point is very satisfying.”

In high school, Kyle was active in football (four-year Varsity Letterman), baseball and track. He made the 2005 KY All-Star Football Roster that traveled to Hawaii to compete in the 2005 King Kamehameha Pigskin Classic, and was also one of the first members of his high school weightlifting team, placing 7th at the 2004 KY State HS Weightlifting Meet. He participated in many recreation league sports throughout college, and has been coaching/training athletes since 2007. Making the transition into coaching CrossFit seemed like a perfect fit for Kyle, who originally just came in to a local box to try CrossFit and see what it was about. “After a few months of training and getting to know the coaches and owners, they asked me to join the coaching staff,” he says. “I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to do so.” A huge nerd, Kyle loves superhero and comic book movies—and “Batman” is his favorite.

Chris Montoya

Chris Montoya

Head Coach

Chris Montoya has done CrossFit for nearly a decade, and coaches members as a personal trainer, helping our members fine-tune their movements during class. He’s passionate about getting members/athletes to improve their quality of life through fitness and quality of nutrition—and seeing them accomplish their goals when hard work and dedication pay off.

Chris played football and ran track (100, 200 and 400), but it was when he started lifting weights in high school that he first learned about the difference CrossFit could make. “At first I only dabbled in it,” he says. “So, for a couple years, I rode that fence and suddenly it was time to give up the old for the new—and here I am today, fully submerged in the awesome world of CrossFit, coaching and competing.”

A guy who loves a good beach WOD, Chris’ favorite saying is: “Learn to move well, then learn to move well fast!”
