I started at CrossFit VU in March of 2016. I weighed 217 pounds when I started and now I weigh 187 pounds and still dropping. I had tried just about every other type of workout program before, boxing, kickboxing, tap out xt, etc. But they just never seemed to work for me.
I was introduced to CrossFit VU by a close friend who told me that after doing CrossFit he would never set foot into a traditional gym again. At first I was hesitant because I thought CrossFit was for people who were already in shape and wanted to take their fitness to the next level. I was wrong. CrossFit is for everyone, no matter your physical condition! What sets CrossFit VU apart from other gyms is whatever nutritional questions you have can be answered by any coach, any workout can be scaled down to fit any physical skill level, you are constantly going to be pushed farther than you ever thought possible, and as long as you show up to class and eat right, you WILL see results. CrossFit VU gives you the tools to become stronger but, it all depends on how much you put into it. Take it from someone like me who was overweight most of his life. The training that you’ll only find at CrossFit VU is worth every single penny and drop of sweat.
