I started CrossFit in 2022 when I moved to Florida. It was the only gym close to my apartment, and after my first class, I was hooked. Once I saw the way CrossFit fosters community and improves people’s lives, I knew that one day I wanted to play a part in bringing that to others. After spending some time as an athlete, I took the CrossFit Level 1 course in 2025 to start coaching.
My passion is to help others be the best version of themselves. Fitness is something I truly enjoy, so being able to use it as a way to carry out that passion is a gift. My favorite part about coaching is witnessing the excitement when someone accomplishes something they never thought possible. Whether it’s a difficult gymnastics skill, a weightlifting personal best, or the ability to play a sport they enjoy, it’s a great feeling to share the excitement and see their confidence boost.
My athletic background is diverse. Growing up, I tried many different sports, including baseball, soccer, and basketball, but never truly enjoyed them. Following my brother’s footsteps, I tried wrestling and loved it. An injury cut my time with wrestling short, but I found something similar when I started training BJJ. I don’t train anymore, but I plan to revisit it someday.
One of my favorite quotes is, “It’s you vs. you.” To me, this means that the only person we are in competition with is ourselves. If we can consistently find ways to be better than we were, there are no limits to what’s possible.
Outside of the gym, I am an exercise science student at the University of West Florida. My schedule stays pretty full, but to unwind, I like to play video games, hang out with friends, or walk the trails at UWF.
